Psalm 119:1-8
How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart. They also do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently. Oh that my ways may be established to keep Your statutes! Then I shall not be ashamed when I look upon all Your commandments. I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous judgments. I shall keep Your statutes; do not forsake me utterly!

Prayer
Blameless are your ways, O Lord; in that I pray to keep; lead me in the way of your footsteps. I will observe your ways, and seek the countenance of the Holy Spirit. Purge all unrighteousness from my soul, so that I may walk in Your light. I have been ordained to carry Your words to the ends of the earth, to keep Your ways all of my days. You have established me; I will keep to your leading. I am not ashamed to call You my own; I cherish Your commandments. Thanks be to the Father of Lights, to be able to learn His ways. I will keep your ways; please do not forsake me nor forget me. Amen!
Devotional
For the man who chooses the Lord, great will his reward be. Blessed are those whose way are blameless! Blessed are those who observe Your testimony; the testimony of our great Father in Heaven. Hundreds of years before, even thousands of years before Christ Jesus came to the earth, God was revealing Himself already through the people, the prophets, the priests, certain Kings, etc… However, they did not all listen to God, or they did not always listen to God. Face it, we are all human and have a natural tendency to listen to what we want to hear instead of always listening to and heeding to what God wants of us.
They did not heed God’s word always. No person will ever be able to follow what God says to do 100% of the time. We are born with a natural sin nature and since Adam and Eve had committed the first sin, there was no way to avoid having this nature ourselves. However, we can continually strive to always heed the word of God and practice the life that Jesus had lived.
They did not always seek God’s face. There is none who can say 100% of the time, that they have never looked away from God. There is at least one point in everyone’s life where there was a sin committed. Just because you may be living a Christ filled, Christ centered life now, what about before you were saved and became a devoted follower of Jesus? I’m sure somewhere in there, whether before or after believing in God, in Jesus, and accepting the Holy Spirit into your life, you have committed at least one sin, and if not, just as the bible says it, you call God a liar by stating that you have never sinned (1 John 1:8-10). The smallest of lies, not helping someone when the Holy Spirit nudges you to help, not sharing God with someone you know is not a believer. It does not matter how small and insignificant it may seem, we have all sinned (Romans 3:23). We all need God and we all have the need for a savior.
God brought forth His only son, Jesus Christ, to reveal the true “Word” to the world. Yet, the world has continued to spiral farther and farther away from God since that day that Christ Jesus hung upon the cross. But to those of us who do believe in Him, by Him we have life everlasting and life abundant. Remember to give God thanks for each day and each breath, He gave his life for you and all people though we were crimson stained.
