“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Jesus; Matthew 28:19-20

Refrigerator and freezer, a very important topic as you approach the Van Life and building your own Class B Van.

So I checked it out. I went to Home Depot and took a good long look at different sizes of fridges. The 4 cubit foot is good, it’s small, a hotel fridge, but doesn’t hold much, and they are around $200.

The 7 cubic foot in my opinion is the optimal size as it is large enough for about a weeks worth of food, plus it has a decent sized freezer. Remember, or at least for us, this van is for short trips, at most one week. And it’s a great price at $300 or so.

Or, if you dare, and are Fulltiming it in the Van Life, you could go with the 10 cubic foot with a freezer unit. These units can definitely hold at least a weeks worth of refrigerated food and would serve you well. The price of the 10 cubic foot unit was at $400.

So now it comes down to personal preference and what your purpose for your Class B Van is. Are you a weekender, a short term vacationer, or a Fulltimer?
