I love the fact that we are all Unique by Default! Each and every one of us are created unique and different to fulfill a specific purpose in life and in the world at large. psalm 139:13-17 says the following:

“For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”

I love this Psalm of David as it goes to show that God can and does reveal Himself to us if we are willing to open ourselves up to Him. God does not close Himself off to others, it’s that we are closing ourselves off from Him. he appeared to David because David was willing to be transparent and vulnerable to God.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.”

So what makes us unique? Everything! Every aspect of our life makes us unique from one another.
